Contest Rules

1. Voting Period:

  • The voting contests will run for five weeks, from September 5th to October 3rd.
  • Each contest will open on Thursday of the corresponding week.
  • Winners will be announced and given money by the following weekend.

2. How to Vote:

  • To cast your vote, simply click on the vote button available on either the home page or the vote page.
  • You will then be directed to the voting platform.
  • To maintain the integrity of the contest, all votes are verified using Texas A&M emails to prevent multiple voting by the same person
  • You are allowed to vote in different contests, however (You can vote each week but not multiple times each week).

3. Results Announcement:

  • Once the voting period concludes, all votes will be carefully tallied.
  • The winning charity will be announced promptly, and the organization will receive its award by the following weekend.
  • To ensure full transparency and fairness, a receipt of the payment to the winning charity will be publicly posted as well as sent via email.

4. Random Voter Prize:

  • At the end of September, after all voting contests have concluded, one voter will be randomly selected to receive a $100 prize.
  • You may vote in multiple contests throughout the five weeks, but each person will only be counted once for the random draw.
  • We will also be sending surveys after each contest to gauge how the event is going and to receive feedback on the contests and charities. We will also be giving $50 to a random participant for each of these surveys.
  • We hope these awards inspire you to keep the generosity going!

These rules are designed to ensure a fair, transparent, and engaging experience for all participants. Your vote matters, and we appreciate your involvement in supporting these charitable causes!
